Can you believe Easter is almost here? I’m so excited! It’s a great time of year! It’s when you get to pick out a pretty dress to wear to church, and then spend the day at home to enjoy a tasty feast. Of course, there is the Easter Bunny and the Easter Baskets that are filled with goodies, but they’re not always good for you. I’m going to share some ideas with you on how you can make healthy Easter baskets that are good for anyone!
You can make your baskets based on what the person likes. A standard healthy Easter basket can be filled with healthy snacks and even some organic chocolates. There is a verity of different healthier candies that you can choose to make your basket with such as; organic lollipops, gluten-free (dairy-free too) chocolates, candy bars and other sweets.
If the person you are making a basket for is more into health food, instead of candy, you could add some dried fruit or vegetable chips, raw snack packs, or even some granola or nut bars. You could even sneak in some vitamins in their basket! Some good vitamins that everyone could use are a multi-vitamin, vitamin C, B vitamins, Probiotics, and even a natural energy booster such as green tea.
There are so many different things you can add to a person’s basket. Making a healthy Easter basket is a great and different way to get somebody interested in eating better. It also shows them that you can have treats, while still eating healthy!
