Healthiest Herbs in the World #2-Ginger

Ginger is a native herb to South Asia, and is mainly used in Asian cuisine. In the Asian culture, ginger is used to spice up vegetable dishes, or is grated on top of tofu and noodles. Ginger can also be added to tea (ginger tea) and coffee to give it some flavor. Not only is ginger great for flavor, but it is also a great for your health. Ginger is full of magnesium, potassium, copper and vitamin B6. It has also been used to treat abdominal bloating, vomiting, diarrhea and coughing.

My ginger home remedy-

My naturopath had told me this ginger home remedy that will help fight off a cold or flu. It works miracles!

Slice a ginger root and boil it in water with some oregano (if wanted). Once it reaches a boil, take off burner. Put the pot under your face and breath in the steam and aroma. It will instantly clear your nasal congestion.

I hope you try to incorporate ginger more into your diet, and will give my home remedy a try.
