So this morning I made a pre-exercise smoothie and it tasted really good!
1. Add in one sliced banana and 1 cup of cubed pineapple into your blender
2. Next, cover the fruit with 1 cup of raw yogurt and sprinkle with cinnamon and ground flax seeds. Oh, and don’t forget to add in shredded dried coconut like I almost did!
3. Blend and serve
This smoothie came out great! I added in ingredients that would give you enough energy to workout and would still be a nice balanced breakfast. Yogurt for protein, fruit for carbohydrates, flax seeds and coconut for healthy fats, which when healthy fats are broken down they increase your energy levels. And last but now least, a little cinnamon to increase your metabolism. 🙂
