Healthy Living Awaits- Real Health. Real Food. Real Living

Vegan Cocoa & Peanut Butter Raw Bites

I’ve always loved the little Rawies that they sell at the health food stores. Mainly because they are made with always just real ingredients, and nothing fake added to them. I’m not sure if it’s the combination of the protein with the coconut, but I never ever have a problem digesting these (which is awesome for me!). So, if you have any stomach or digestion problems, I would defiantly give these a try.

Coconut helps strengthen your immune system, promotes energy, and can boost your thyroid function up to 20%!

Coco has a ton of antioxidants which promotes healthy, radiant skin.

Peanut Butter is a great healthy fat, and full of potassium and fiber.

Everything in this recipe will give you energy and keep you feeling great throughout the day.

1/2 cup of organic peanut butter (make sure it doesn’t have any added oils)

3 tbs. of unsweetened finely shredded coconut (plus more for rolling)

1 tbs. of organic unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 cup of raw honey (if you are vegan, go ahead and use agave)

1/3 cup of coconut flour (may need to use a little more, if the dough comes out a little too sticky to roll.)

1-2 pinches of sea salt

Mix the first four ingredients together in a bowl. Then add in the coconut flour and sea salt. Mix until all ingredients are we’ll combined and starts to form into a dough. If your dough happens to be a little too sticky, go ahead and add in a little more coconut flour. Take some pieces of the dough and roll them into little balls in your hand. Place them on parchment paper. Once all of them are into small ball shapes, roll them in a small bowl of shredded coconut. Place them in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, before serving. These also freeze really great, so you can make a lot of them at once, if wanted.

First four ingredients

Stir it all up. It looks like mess, but it smells and tastes so good!

Add in the coconut flour and salt, and mix until dough forms.

Roll into small balls

Roll into shredded coconut

Place them on the parchment paper, and place into the fridge.
