Chocolate Cherry Muffins (Grain-free)

This recipe was adapted from Detoxinista

The original recipe calls for raspberries, but all I had were frozen cherries, so I thawed them, and they worked perfectly fine. You could probably use any type of berry in these muffins, if you wanted. Also, instead of the sugar-filled, processed chocolate chips at the store, I homemade chocolate chips that I had left over.

There isn’t much to say about these muffins, except that they taste great! These muffins are bursting with flavor and they hold together really well.

Add in all ingredients, except the fruit and the chocolate chips.IMG_1738

Fold in the fruit and chocolate. As you can see, the last time I made my chocolate chip recipe, they were more chocolate chunks than chips! 😛

Add the batter into the muffin tin. These made exactly 11 muffins for me.
